But no bland resolutions here - we're giving the wheel of the year a spin, ditching the dead weight and dressing the future in hope. In this hands-on workshop, you'll craft your own pagan-inspired wreaths: big, bold, and unapologetically personal. Evergreens for life and protection, holly for strength, cinnamon for prosperity, plus a heap of googly eyes and "what even is this?" to banish boredom. Each wreath will bear two tags: your Hex (what you're kicking out) and your Wish (what you're calling in). Write them loud so everyone sees, or hide. Why it works: - Marks transition and reset - a creative ritual for reflection and intention-setting - Lighthearted "banishing" helps teams laugh at shared frustrations and let go of baggage - Playful unexpected materials + symbolism spark imagination and out-of-the-box thinking - Sharing hexes & wishes builds openness, humour, and a sense of collective renewal ## Photos ![Pinecones wreath extra wide.jpg](https://storage.googleapis.com/hometainment/media/9c233bc0-a5a6-46f4-b3bf-89f908e3e167_1759305416737) ![Orange wreath wide.jpg](https://storage.googleapis.com/hometainment/media/bad35262-db47-46f5-8ade-9c3357f0d2a6_1759305413113) ![Jamie pinecone 2.jpg](https://storage.googleapis.com/hometainment/media/babe5892-544d-4583-92ed-ccf679064855_1759305409740) ![Mag+MC 2.jpg](https://storage.googleapis.com/hometainment/media/fa85714c-02eb-4924-a966-d27ed8d821b7_1759305410830) ![MC 1.jpg](https://storage.googleapis.com/hometainment/media/43ddf5e4-3989-4e37-a60c-07f9f77ea811_1759305412227) ![Orange wreath orange.jpg](https://storage.googleapis.com/hometainment/media/b7a0ea24-02c0-4968-98f6-87585df36f94_1759305413701) ## What's included All materials included ## What the host should provide Venue or venue preferences ## Allergens N/A ## About the hometainer: Madam Makery _Absurd & Playful Creative Workshops_ Madam is the plot twist in creative workshops - absurd, funny, and cleverly chaotic. Think of it as the Monty Python of artsy sessions: the kind of workshop that makes teams drop their guard, laugh together, and spark creativity they can actually take back to work. Our workshops are ideal for company team bonding or private events where you want something different: creative, surprising, and actually enjoyable. 🤝 How Madam works We start with absurd but powerful ideas: protective monsters, boundary-setting stitched into hoops, Christmas baubles with a wicked twist. Only then do we unleash the materials: foam clay, embroidery threads, glitter, rusty nails… whatever the chaos calls for. Sessions are carefully guided, so no one’s left floundering - but there’s plenty of space for surprise, play, and sideways thinking. We bring all the materials, set the tone, and create a space that’s deliberately low-pressure and delightfully offbeat. Workshops are fully mobile, flexible to your timings, and can be shaped around your team’s energy, goals, or vibe - whether you’re looking for pure joy, creative reset, or something a bit weird (in the best way).
