It was lovely to have Sarah cook in our kitchen. She is professional and super friendly. We had a special challenge for her with a coeliac, a lactose intolerant as well as a guest with allergies - Sarah was flexible and inventive in exploring ways to make sure everyone had a wonderful meal and welcomed the extra challenge. So you want to host a chef-catered dinner party in London. I did, for my 50th birthday, and it came off absolutely brilliantly thanks to Chef Charlotte. Here's some advice: 1. Obviously, rent the AirBNB/event space with the largest dining area. This will likely not be big enough, however, and you probably won't have enough place settings, silverware, wineglasses, etc. We only realized this in a call with Chef Charlotte, who recommended an event hire company from whom we rented an extra table, linens, wine glasses, etc. 2. Tell the AirBNB owner what you're doing before you reserve: I didn't really, and for the week leading up to the event was pretty stressed out that the owner would object or worse, send over the police! 3. Use HOMETAINMENT. Antoine Melon, the founder, is dedicated to making your event a success and will likely reach out to you personally--exactly the touch that will make the difference. Thanks Antoine! 4. You will probably end up working with the first chef who responds to your inquiry--in our case, fortuitously, Chef Charlotte. And you'll probably be fine with any of the HOMETAINMENT Chefs they're all professionals, after all. However, I would recommend that you at least wait to hear from Chef Charlotte, who I would wholeheartedly recommend. 5. Keep things (relatively) simple. While I'm sure she can cook anything, Chef Charlotte recommends a menu that she has likely cooked a hundred times and can probably do in her sleep. She adapted it to accommodate our dietary needs (some vegans, garlic intolerance) and added a personal favorite of mine, a cold spring veggie soup which was amazing. 6. An assistant chef/server is important, and I'd make sure that your chef will have one (Charlotte will). 7. And ultimately, relax and have a great time! Chef Charlotte is a total professional, great to work with, and most of all, cooked us an unforgettable meal: Passed canapés: Roasted aubergine with tomato and black olive tapenade Salmon gravlax, toasted rye, mustard and dill sauce Dorset crab tartlets First course: Spring vegetable soup, gremolata Second course: Ravioli of new season English green and white asparagus Main course: Herb crusted rack of Cotswold lamb, spring vegetables, potato gratin, lamb jus, served with risotto of spring vegetables, basil pesto, pine nut crumb Dessert: Apple tart tatin, home made vanilla ice cream Bon appetit! I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Chef Jojo's sushi platters through HOMETAINMENT, and it was truly a culinary masterpiece! Each sushi piece was a burst of exquisite flavor, meticulously crafted to perfection. The symphony of fresh ingredients, vibrant colors, and impeccable presentation elevated the dining experience to new heights. From traditional classics to innovative creations, Chef Jojo's sushi platters take you on a delightful culinary journey. I had the opportunity to choose four options from each section of the sample menu, and it was a tough decision because every option sounded fantastic. The sushi was not just a meal; it was a work of art. Chef Jojo's attention to detail and dedication to quality are evident in every bite. In particular, the Nigiri Sushi Platter showcased the freshness and quality of the ingredients. The Maguro Nigiri and Sake Nigiri were absolute highlights, offering a perfect balance of flavors. I was also pleasantly surprised by the Dragon Roll from the Maki Sushi Platter; the combination of eel and avocado was divine. The Temaki Sushi Platter added a unique touch to the experience. The Negitoro Temaki with chopped tuna belly and scallions was a delightful treat, and the Seared Beef Temaki was a true revelation. It's worth noting that Chef Jojo and the team were accommodating, providing an alternative for the Hamachi Nigiri due to supply shortages. Overall, I highly recommend Chef Jojo's sushi platters for any occasion. It's not just a meal; it's a memorable culinary journey that will leave your taste buds dancing with joy.

Our experience with HOMEtainment was absolutely fantastic. Collaborating with Kate and the HOMEtainment team to arrange our inaugural event was a delightful process. The range of options they provided was extensive, and all participants in the Breathwork and Sound Healing workshop had an incredibly positive and enriching experience. We're so thrilled with the outcome that we've already scheduled two additional sessions for June and July, and we're eagerly anticipating them.

This was the second time I had used Sarah. As before, her food was of the highest quality and much commented upon by my guests. She also coped brilliantly with my tiny kitchen and the fact that we were serving canapés in the garden with much to-big and fro-ing but all done with total professionalism. She is now absolutely my first choice for any catering and she has been used by other family members who have been similarly impressed. Thank you Sarah for making it such a memorable event.

Antoine and his team came and rescued the big school BBQ when our other caterer cancel. He was amazing at working in our constraint budget and time frame. I was very impressed and will be using him again!

Having asked Mimi to cook and prepare my post solo show supper party I felt completely relaxed and trusted her expert choices and decisions in what we might like to eat. We all appeared from the gallery to a feast of food... it was beautifully presented and completely delicious. Her unusual salads, cottage pie and mouth watering brownies vanished. Her professionalism, style and attention to detail was exceptional and Mimi was always there with a smile.
