Children love sushi! I have taught many children the art of sushi making and they have loved it!
This class is available for all children aged 5 and above.
*parents will have to stay with their children between the ages of 5 to 7.
Vegan sushi and cooked ingredients can be catered for this class (Please do let us know in advance)

It will be a 2-hour class.

In the first 30 mins - I will teach Japanese basic communications and how to write basic Japanese. words. Also, we write their names in Japanese for them to keep or take home.
The next 60 minutes will be used to make 3 types of sushi together. (Hosomaki, Nigiri and California rolls)
For the last 30mins, I will cut the sushi for them and teach them how to hold chopsticks and how to eat sushi like Japanese people.
The children can keep the rolling mat and take some sushi home for later.

About the HOMEtainer

Born in Tokyo and now lives with her children in London. Teacher Makiko has taught the Art of Sushi making to more than 50,000 people in the last five years - from children's parties and classes, to adult sushi lessons. Author of two cookbooks which have been printed in more than 16 languages. She has also supplied sushi to the royals at Buckingham Palace and conducted Sushi Classes at Milan EXPO 2015 supported by Corriere della Sera Newspapers in Italy.
