This experience will guide you through the four fundamental techniques of cocktail making; stirring, shaking, muddling and building whilst guiding you through the fun and interesting history of these classics. We shall start the class by stirring a Martinez which dates back to 1884 in O H Byrons the modern bartender guide, We shall then move onto shake a contemporary sours which derived from a 19th Century Crusta recipe whichever way you like it; whisky, pisco, gin or vodka ?We shall then build a Tom Collins using the original Limmer’s hotel recipe from the mid 19th century. And to finish we shall transport you to a contemporary favourite and build the perfect mojito.
