We've been talking to community groups, long-time locals and experienced guides to put together the top trump list of Putney restaurants to help you support your local area and have a fab meal at the same time. During our search, we put a real focus on the restaurants which are family (and dog) friendly, artisan, family run and welcoming.
Here are your favourites ranked starting with number 10:
10. Home SW15

Home is a popular spot with locals. A delightful place on the high street, the owners say "we want Home to be a ‘home from home’, a place to relax and feel welcomed." Home serves modern European cuisine for brunch, lunch, dinner and cocktails and was a 2019 Good Food Guide Award Winner. Opened by Craig and “the two Freddie’s”, Home is a really buzzy all-day restaurant with a fantastic bar selling a cracking cup of coffee in the morning and delicious Made @ Home cocktails in the evening.
9. La Parmigiana

A local hotspot known for its delicious pizza and friendly atmosphere. Expect great value (£13-£20 per head) and even better service from the team. Guests love that they sell big portions, the child-friendly atmosphere and the amazing takeaway pizzas too. We recommend their Gamberi and signature Melanzane alla Parmigiana.
8. Yum Sa

Yum Sa on Upper Richmond road is all-round winner. Creative modern Thai food is classically inspired, re-interpreted with contemporary culinary techniques in an open kitchen. Yum Sa was conceived in 2015 with a dream to connect people in Putney to simple, great-tasting food with a Thai twist. They take pride in creating a brand with strong local vendor ties for all meat, poultry and vegetable requirements.
7. Flour and Water

A pizza and pasta place with a beautiful little garden. Sit outside in the beautiful greens amongst the plants or if it's a bit chilly that day, sit in the chique inside area. A great find up in the North West of Putney that is regularly booked out so try and book ahead if you can!
6. District One Vietnamese Kitchen

A local hidden gem, tucked away round the corner of Putney High street. Those unfamiliar with District one may look past it but trust us, they're missing out! Come for delicious food but be won over by the family run atmosphere and great service. A fun a vibrant place to have a night out with friends!
