Jacob came straight back to us with a delicious selection of menus. We agreed on food, price and timings very easily and with no hassle. Jacob arrived 2 hours before our guests to get set up in our kitchen. He was professional, courteous and fun! And presented an amazing selection of beautifully presented canapes followed by seared tuna starters, fillet beef based main and refreshing posset. Jacob washed up and left us to enjoy the rest of our evening. It was effortless for me and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Thank you Jacob!
Jacob did a great job and made us feel important from the first communication, which some other chefs hadn't when we were speaking with them.
He was responsive and gave good ideas and suggestions when we spoke, allowing us to make the decisions quickly. He was also flexible when numbers etc changed nearer to the event,
Helping find a server for the day meant we had a lunch that felt extra special and everyone loved the food - with generous portions and good quality food. The lobster risotto was an amazing start to the meal and really set the scene for what followed.
The kitchen was left clean and tidy and the day was a joy.
Jacob cooked a great Mexican dinner for 19 of us. He prepared everything the day before and shared clear instructions for us to put it altogether. It was perfect!

We asked Jacob to do some canapés for our small wedding reception and we were so impressed. Everything was so delicious and our guests were singing his praises later! The food was exquisite and Jacob was so friendly and professional. If we ever need a private chef we will definitely ask Jacob again. Chef Jacob did an outstanding job. He is brilliant at communicating and I requested all vegan dinner. We discussed my expectations, preferences etc and he sent a menu proposal from which I selected my choices. He delivered stunning food that wowed the crowd. I hired Jacob to put together an 8 person menu including canapés. He arrived a couple of hours ahead of the dinner and got to work. He put everything together with the minimum of fuss. Food was fantastic, presentation top-notch. He was a major part of a great night.
Jacob was a brilliant chef for my dinner party last week. All of the communication up until the event was smooth and transparent - there were plenty of options provided for the menu and Jacob was able to accommodate all my requests with ease. Jacob made us such an exceptional dinner - we loved every mouthful of it! We had both the pork and salmon canapés, crab crumpets to start, surf and turf for main and the sticky toffee pudding to complete a wonderful meal. Jacob catered for my cousins hen do. His food and service was wonderful. There was lots of choice for the menu so we could make it tailored to our needs. Jacob was really great with catering for dietary requirements, especially around one of the guests being coeliac. I would definitely recommend Jacob if you are having a private party and need a chef.
