This was a first for our family when hiring a large house for a 60th/70th and Jacob was great from the initial contact through to menu choice, flexibility and was very reassuring as the date approached. He arrived on time and was discreet, positive and down to earth and a joy to have around. His service support lady was equally charming and everyone was really impressed with the quality of food, presentation and quantity. Would highly recommend if you want a quality stress free dinner party. We had 24 people in the end with some last minute changes, which he graciously accommodated. Excellent all round! Would definitely hire again. Plus great value for money!

We had both the pork and salmon canapés, crab crumpets to start, surf and turf for main and the sticky toffee pudding to complete a wonderful meal. We had to commandeer two neighbours ovens and he spend the prep and cooking running between three houses! I don’t know where to start. The whole experience was superb! The guests really enjoyed popping in and out of the kitchen watching Jacob prep the meals. He didn’t mind people asking things and we all really enjoyed his company. Soft shell crab - to die for! The masala sauce was on point and the presentation was impeccable. Jacob realised we had chosen similar sauces for our starters and mains and he used his intuition to change a few things with the mains which was delicious. Dessert - The Rum soaked sticky toffee pudding was not too sweet, had the right consistency and we all whacked it ( despite being so full from the starters and mains). It was so nice to experience a family recipe. Jacob, your grandma must be so proud!

Jacob served up cananpes for 30 for a drinks party. The canapes were truly delicious and he was professional friendly and fun (he is dog friendly too). He arrived 1.5hr before the guests having already prepared the food. He finished it off, plated up and cleared up before leaving. Everyone thought the food was amazing. Jacob was quick to respond to questions, incredibly helpful and was a delight to work with and have in the house. Would highly recommend and would definitely book him again.
