Jacob came straight back to us with a delicious selection of menus. We agreed on food, price and timings very easily and with no hassle. Jacob arrived 2 hours before our guests to get set up in our kitchen. He was professional, courteous and fun! And presented an amazing selection of beautifully presented canapes followed by seared tuna starters, fillet beef based main and refreshing posset. Jacob washed up and left us to enjoy the rest of our evening. It was effortless for me and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Thank you Jacob!

Chef Jacob did an outstanding job. He is brilliant at communicating and I requested all vegan dinner. We discussed my expectations, preferences etc and he sent a menu proposal from which I selected my choices. He delivered stunning food that wowed the crowd. Jacob did a great job and made us feel important from the first communication, which some other chefs hadn't when we were speaking with them. He was responsive and gave good ideas and suggestions when we spoke, allowing us to make the decisions quickly. He was also flexible when numbers etc changed nearer to the event, Helping find a server for the day meant we had a lunch that felt extra special and everyone loved the food - with generous portions and good quality food. The lobster risotto was an amazing start to the meal and really set the scene for what followed. The kitchen was left clean and tidy and the day was a joy.

Jacob made us such an exceptional dinner - we loved every mouthful of it! We had both the pork and salmon canapés, crab crumpets to start, surf and turf for main and the sticky toffee pudding to complete a wonderful meal. Jacob was warm and friendly, and clearly takes great pride in his work. This was the first time we have had someone cook in our home for us and we would definitely book him to cook for us again. I don’t know where to start. The whole experience was superb! The guests really enjoyed popping in and out of the kitchen watching Jacob prep the meals. He didn’t mind people asking things and we all really enjoyed his company. Soft shell crab - to die for! The masala sauce was on point and the presentation was impeccable. Jacob realised we had chosen similar sauces for our starters and mains and he used his intuition to change a few things with the mains which was delicious. Dessert - The Rum soaked sticky toffee pudding was not too sweet, had the right consistency and we all whacked it ( despite being so full from the starters and mains). It was so nice to experience a family recipe. Jacob, your grandma must be so proud!

Jacob served up cananpes for 30 for a drinks party. The canapes were truly delicious and he was professional friendly and fun (he is dog friendly too). He arrived 1.5hr before the guests having already prepared the food. He finished it off, plated up and cleared up before leaving. Everyone thought the food was amazing. Jacob was quick to respond to questions, incredibly helpful and was a delight to work with and have in the house. Would highly recommend and would definitely book him again.
