Jacob was a pleasure to have cooking at our party. Even after he diagnosed our new oven as faulty and not able to get up to high enough temperature he remained totally calm and collected. We had to commandeer two neighbours ovens and he spend the prep and cooking running between three houses! Food was delicious, high quality and we would definitely use him again and recommend to our friends ans family.

I hired Jacob to put together an 8 person menu including canapés. He arrived a couple of hours ahead of the dinner and got to work. He put everything together with the minimum of fuss. Food was fantastic, presentation top-notch. He was a major part of a great night.

Jacob came straight back to us with a delicious selection of menus. We agreed on food, price and timings very easily and with no hassle. Jacob arrived 2 hours before our guests to get set up in our kitchen. He was professional, courteous and fun! And presented an amazing selection of beautifully presented canapes followed by seared tuna starters, fillet beef based main and refreshing posset. Jacob washed up and left us to enjoy the rest of our evening. It was effortless for me and all our guests thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Thank you Jacob!

Jacob's communication was one of the reasons I decided on him. Additionally, he's reasonably priced and his menu showed thought and generosity to client. He was briefed to be authentically himself, for a fun Executive Leadership (household name) informal BBQ and he did this so well, he was very much part of the evening team of 3 in total supporting. Jacob served up cananpes for 30 for a drinks party. The canapes were truly delicious and he was professional friendly and fun (he is dog friendly too). He arrived 1.5hr before the guests having already prepared the food. He finished it off, plated up and cleared up before leaving. Everyone thought the food was amazing. Jacob was quick to respond to questions, incredibly helpful and was a delight to work with and have in the house. Would highly recommend and would definitely book him again.

Jacob catered for my cousins hen do. His food and service was wonderful. There was lots of choice for the menu so we could make it tailored to our needs. Jacob was really great with catering for dietary requirements, especially around one of the guests being coeliac. I would definitely recommend Jacob if you are having a private party and need a chef.

All of the communication up until the event was smooth and transparent - there were plenty of options provided for the menu and Jacob was able to accommodate all my requests with ease. On the night, Jacob was engaging, knowledgeable and he even cleaned up after. I couldn't recommend more highly and will certainly be using Jacob again.

I cannot recommend Jacob more! From start to finish, Jacob was incredibly professional and kind. Communication was great - shared menu options, had a quick call and we were set. Even when I had to add three guests the night before our event, Jacob was incredibly accommodating. He arrived a bit before the dinner to prep, was friendly and engaging with us (and even our dog Tina)! Now for the food - five star restaurant quality in your own home. We did the crab & chili beignets and macerated tomatoes for canapés which were a perfect start to the night - and only got better from there. Highlight was the ribeye main - so buttery, probably one of the best ribeyes I’ve had (and I’m from Texas)! All in all, we’ll definitely be working with Jacob again and will be recommending him to everyone I know - thank you Jacob!

We asked Jacob to do some canapés for our small wedding reception and we were so impressed. Everything was so delicious and our guests were singing his praises later! The food was exquisite and Jacob was so friendly and professional. If we ever need a private chef we will definitely ask Jacob again.
